Ross Video is bringing a special opportunity to those attending this year's SVG College Summit. You can sign up for free Collegiate Broadcast Training courses and sharpen your skills on the company's popular Xpression graphics system, free of charge, to be held on May 29 and 30 at the Omni in Atlanta just prior to SVG College Summit.

Tuesday, May 29
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.: XPression 101
4 - 6 p.m.: Ross Workflow Training (Switcher Effects, Macros, DashBoard Custom Panels, XPression Playback)
Wednesday, May 30
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: XPression for ESPN/Broadcast Productions (Operations Tips and Tricks, Game Prep Session, Troubleshooting)
Guests are welcome to sign up for one or both days of the training sessions, which will be held in the Omni Hotel at CNN, the same hotel that will host SVG College Summit.
Attendance is limited to collegiate full-time employees, freelancers, and students.
All attendees should bring a personal computer that meets the following requirements:
Windows 7 or 10 required
Microsoft Office installed, with Microsoft Excel recommended
An NVIDIA GPU preferred
2-3 Gb of RAM
In preparation for the training, Ross Video encourages guests to review the following tutorial videos, which can be found on the Ross Video XPression U site: http://www.rossvideo.com/graphics-system/xpression/xpression-u/index.html
In addition to the training, each student will receive a dongle and software for XPression Designer, the offline creation edition of XPression. NOTE: This version is not capable of outputting live video, but it will render graphics to a pixel-accurate virtual output on your VGA screen. This will allow you to work with XPression at home to sharpen your skills and eventually do prebuild work for live programs.
