Expre railway to be opened between Ningbo and Jinan from July 05

China's railway stations will implement a new train operation diagram from July 2015, and an express railway between Ningbo and Jinan is expected to be put into service by then.

After the adjustment, a pair of T trains (No. T135/136) will be added between Ningbo and Jinan. There are 8 pairs of high-speed trains running between the 2 cities at present, which are expected to be decreased after the adjustment.

A high-speed railway between Ningbo and South Changsha is expected to be opened to the public from May 20, and a Ningbo to North Guiyang High-speed railway is also on the agenda.

Besides, there have been 2 choices for passengers travelling between Shanghai and Fuzhou after the opening of the Hefei-Fuzhou High-speed Railway: one is to travel along the Hangshen Railway, which will pass by the Ningbo Station, with the entire journey taking more than 6 hours; another is to take the Hukun High-speed Railway and transfer to the Hefei-Fuzhou High-speed Railway, which will only take 4.5 hours for the whole journey.
