Corus Appoints Pam Westman as Head of Nelvana Enterprises

CORUS APPOINTS PAM WESTMAN AS HEAD OF NELVANA ENTERPRISES

Toronto, Canada Corus Entertainment's Nelvana today announced the appointment of Pam Westman to Head, Nelvana Enterprises. A highly-respected industry veteran, Pam will oversee brand development and management across the Nelvana portfolio, including retail management, licensing, consumer products, content sales, and digital on a global basis.

Pam brings more than twenty years of international industry experience in licensing, consumer products, marketing, and content sales to Nelvana. She will report to Scott Dyer, President, Nelvana, and will have an active role in setting Nelvana's strategy within the larger Corus portfolio of channels and brands.

As we focus on the continued growth of our international business and our strategy to own more content, convincing Pam to return to her roots in brand management was a real coup for Nelvana, said Scott Dyer. Pam brings strong leadership skills as well as a wealth of experience to the organization.

Most recently, Pam was Director, Integration for Staples Canada. Prior to this, she was the Executive Vice President of HIT Entertainment, a global entertainment company responsible for landmark children's content, including Bob the Builder, Barney and Friends and Thomas the Tank Engine, where she led the Canadian, U.S., and Latin American divisions through a period of strong growth. Pam was also part of the senior executive team that completed the sale of HIT to Mattel.

During my career within the kids' entertainment business, I have always admired Nelvana and the Corus broadcast channels, and am now very proud to be part of the family.

Antoine Erligmann, who heads up Nelvana's European office, will report to Pam.
