Utelogy Continues to Expand its Utelligence Program for A V Device Standardization by Partnering with Lightware Visual Engineering

Utelogy Corporation, a visionary provider of control, monitoring and analytics software for workspace management, has further expanded its innovative Utelligence Program for A/V and UC Device Standardization by introducing new drivers for Lightware Visual Engineering's best in-class Video Matrix Switchers and Signal Extension systems.

Lightware's solutions offer feature-rich data and analytics to users in an open and agnostic way. By partnering with Utelogy, the company utilizes Utelogy's powerful software tools for monitoring and managing the AV devices in its own product catalog, including the Taurus UCX range of USB-C and USB peripheral switching products, Cisco Switching products, and its 1GB AV over IP Platform, Vinx.

We believe providing more data for the End User, Systems Integrator, Managed Service Provider, IT Helpdesk etc. is key in managing, monitoring, and controlling AV deployments successfully, comments Craig Storey, Sales Director UK & Ireland, Lightware. As a result of our collaboration, our customers will be able to deploy Lightware products with a full Management and Monitoring platform and gain insights into how the products are being used, automate the testing of devices and report on issues before they become a problem. Each Lightware product now integrates with Utelogy seamlessly and offers deep levels of insight into key aspects of runtime product data including video resolutions, EDID profiles, power present, network present, bandwidth and more. While other manufacturers offer proprietary monitoring of their devices, this siloed view fails to provide users with a comprehensive overview of their complete estate. A Utelligent network can be managed and monitored from a single-pane of glass.

With Lightware looking after video and USB peripheral switching while at the same time providing a robust API, Utelogy is able to manage and monitor Lightware products as well as all other connected AV and UC devices within the environment such as USB devices, cameras, speakers, and displays.
