Companies to showcase portable TV Ready studio in a box at NAB 2016
MONTREAL AND CHICAGO - March 31, 2016 - Haivision, a market leader in enterprise video and streaming solutions, announced that Globelynx, a broadcast technology company, is leveraging Haivision's video streaming technology to power its global interview network that connects more expert commentators to more broadcasters, in more countries. The companies will exhibit the portable remote interview solution at NAB 2016 at the Renaissance Hotel, 2nd Floor.
Globelynx helps global Fortune 500 companies promote their expertise and increase brand exposure with reliable, high quality interviews that can go on-air instantly from the branded environment of the office. With Globelynx' TV Ready Network and easy-to-use, self-operated and simple-to-install office studio camera kits, companies like Bank of America, Barclays, IHS Global and the London School of Economics, can effortlessly go on air with global broadcasters like Bloomberg, BBC, Fox, CNBC, CNN and Sky News. Already around a thousand experts covering 300 subjects in 22 languages are connected to 80 global broadcasters via the Globelynx network.
The Globelynx solution includes an HD quality camera, in-built LED lights, sound and encoder (all inside one small box), connectivity via IP, an online booking portal and a database where companies can promote their leading experts for interviews and news sources. The network is powered by video technology from Haivision, making it possible to distribute video across readily accessible network connections like the public Internet. The Haivision solution brings a more flexible option for remote interviews in comparison to using costly and difficult-to-schedule satellite networks.
