SAM's Enterprise sQ sits at the heart of state-of-the-art facility for RTL T l L tzebuerg

SAM today announces that Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), a system integrator and part of RTL Group, has purchased SAM's Enterprise sQ news and sports production system to bring content on air quickly for RTL T l L tzebuerg, the national television channel of Luxembourg. The Enterprise sQ system will be tightly integrated with MBT MAM and playout automation. BCE will install the system in RTL T l L tzebuerg's new facilities in Luxembourg, which is scheduled to go live at the end of 2016.

With 30 years experience in professional broadcast services, BCE offers a comprehensive range of services in broadcast to deliver turnkey solutions. Its parent company, RTL Group, is the leading European entertainment network with interest in 57 TV channels and 31 radio stations. RTL T l L tzebuerg broadcasts two TV channels in the country's native language.

The new facility will enable RTL T l L tzebuerg to expand its operations and optimize its tapeless workflows more easily and efficiently, making use of the latest technologies.

According to Jean Lampach CTO at BCE, the reliability, openness and unbeatable speed-to-air times were the key reasons in choosing SAM's Enterprise sQ, From its new state-of-the-art facilities, RTL T l L tzebuerg will need to service several channels in different formats with media and metadata being pulled from different sources - all within tight deadlines. After publishing an RFP and examining the market closely, we knew Enterprise sQ would be the absolute best choice for this project. The system's speed is unmatched, and its unique design allows newsroom staff to work in a truly collaborative fashion.

Used by major media organizations around the world, Enterprise sQ delivers news and other content with next to zero turnaround time. It offers a file-based workflow in SD and HD and is supplied as a combination of software and realtime hardware which delivers media for OTT, Web and TV broadcasting.
