Ericsson to provide TV listings for the entire USA TODAY NETWORK portfolio which includes USA TODAY, The Arizona Republic, The Indianapolis Star and more than 100 other local news brands across the US
Exclusive multi-year deal spans both print and digital products
Ericssons global content discovery and metadata portfolio now spans over 10 million movies and program titles covering over 35 languages
FYI Television, now part of Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC), has been selected by leading media and marketing company Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) to provide TV listings across its USA TODAY NETWORK.
The exclusive multi-year deal will see Ericsson provide TV listings services for both Gannetts print and digital products including the iconic title, USA TODAY and a raft of leading US titles across the USA TODAY NETWORK, including The Arizona Republic, The Indianapolis Star, The Louisville Courier-Journal, The Wilmington News Journal, The Des Moines Register and The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle to name a few.
Ericsson will create and deliver a wide range of customized content tailored to each Gannett property including daily TV grids, weekly magazines, tabloids and/or broadsheets including grids, categorized breakouts, photos, and a wide range of feature options. Ericsson will also deliver digital listings for e-editions and interactive web grids.

Earlier this year, Ericsson completed its acquisition of US based global TV metadata and entertainment image content provider, FYI Television. The acquisition marked a key milestone in Ericssons ongoing TV and media growth strategy, further strengthening the companys market-leading position in content discovery. Around 150 FYI Television employees joined Ericsson as part of the acquisition.
Ericssons global content discovery portfolio now spans more than 10 million movies and program titles covering over 35 languages. Ericssons team of 300 editorial specialists create and deliver rich metadata, along with images from its extensive library of around 1.7 million stills, to more than 12,000 TV and VOD channels. Globally more than 200 million people interact with Ericssons rich metadata each week.
