Actress Maggie Benedict is best known for her on-screen role on Generations as Akhona. She has never starred in any recent Mzansi production since her dramatic exit on Generations. In recent years, many have asked what happened to her.

Whilst on Generations, she played the bubbly character of Akhona and starred alongside some of Mzansi's finest actors, the likes of Connie Ferguson. Against the backdrop of her fame, she disappeared from small screens.

Since her dramatic exit, she hasn't been spotted in the streets or on social meaning, leaving many concerned about her whereabouts.

WHERE DID AKHONA FROM GENERATIONS' DISAPPEAR TO? In the wake of her exit in Generations, she was allegedly nabbed and brought before the courts for allegedly bleaching her daughter. To make matters worse, the actress has not been active on social media. Her last seen on social media was on Twitter in 2013.
According to News.24 she was once arrested for allegedly stealing in 2017. Several death hoaxes and rumours have been peddled against her in recent years, and she hasn't even weighed into them. This has undoubtedly left many wondering if she was dead or alive.

LIFE AFTER GENERATIONS' However, despite keeping her private life under wraps, the actress is winning big in Hollywood. Maggie Benedict found a new home in Hollywood and has been playing lead roles in several big-budget productions. The 42-year-old actress was born in Pretoria and doubles as a writer and director. Her shot into fame came in 2009 but made all sorts of headlines in 2011 when she was cast in Generations as Akhona. With an illustrious career spanning years, she has won several awards, including The Golden Horn.
