GIK Acoustics expand Bass Trap Panel range

New Classic, Amplitude & FlexRange units introduced

GIK Acoustics have just introduced a trio of new bass trap designs that bring improved low-end absorption options to three of their popular product ranges. The new panels join the Classic, Amplitude and FlexRange lines, and all feature a deeper construction that's capable of tackling frequencies down to 60Hz - or as low as 50Hz in the case of the FlexRange.

What's New? Here's a quick overview of the new arrivals and what they have to offer:

Classic Bass Trap Panel 60Hz : First up is a straightforward broadband bass absorber built around a 200mm / eight-inch mineral wool core. It offers absorption down to around 60Hz and boasts up to 25% greater low-frequency performance than GIK's 150mm models.

Amplitude Bass Trap Panel 60Hz : The new Amplitude panel brings the same deeper performance to GIK's design-led hybrid range, combining absorption, scattering and diffusion. It also extends down to around 60Hz and offers up to 25% greater low-frequency absorption than the 150mm version.

FlexRange Bass Trap Panel 50Hz : Based on GIK's patented two-frame FlexRange system and providing even greater low-end control, the third of the new arrivals is designed to absorb down to around 50Hz. It includes a built-in air gap, can be configured in Full Range, Range Limiter or Scatter Plate modes, and delivers up to 30% better low-frequency absorption than GIK's 170mm models.

All three models have been independently tested at the University of Salford to BS EN ISO 354:2003 standards. More than 20 Camira Cara fabric options are available across the range, alongside multiple sizes and other customisation options.
