Rohde & Schwarz to transfer dedicated DOCSIS portfolio to long term partner Calian Calian will be taking over the Rohde & Schwarz DOCSIS portfolio, consisting of the R&S DSA, R&S CLGD and R&S SFD. Calian will now develop and distribute the portfolio, strengthening its position in this industry. Contractual agreements have been made between the two partners to ensure a smooth transition for existing customers.

Rohde & Schwarz announced today it has transferred its DOCSIS portfolio with the worldwide distribution rights, to Calian Group Ltd. (TSX: CGY), a diverse products and services company providing innovative healthcare, communications, learning and cybersecurity solutions.

Rohde & Schwarz and Calian have been partners since June 2011 and have jointly developed test and measurement instruments for DOCSIS. The transfer of the DOCSIS product portfolio to Calian demonstrates Calian's commitment to growth in this industry.

Calian delivers top-tier DOCSIS test and measurement products, and specializes in RF and physical layer diagnostics suitable for laboratory testing and in-field monitoring. Rights for the aforementioned products will formally transfer to Calian effective August 1, 2024. Product warranties will remain in effect for their full duration, and Calian will provide long term product support.
