Con la direcci n de Fernando Meirelles responsable de grandes xitos del cine como El Jardinero Fiel y nominado para un Oscar por Ciudad de Dios , junto con su hijo, Quico Meirelles, Los Experimentados' es una coproducci n de Globo con O2 Filmes y propone una reflexi n conmovedora sobre redescubrirse y reinventarse en una de las mejores etapas de la vida. En cuatro episodios, la serie tiene un elenco de peso para contar historias emocionantes con temas universales como la amistad, la familia y el amor, que forman parte de la vida de la gente en cualquier lugar del mundo.
Los Experimentados es un ejemplo m s de las series que Globo lleva al mercado internacional en 2018 que, con diversos g neros, llevan una nueva mirada a temas de actualidad y dramas humanos, como la vida en la madurez, el ambiente de la c rcel y la urgencia en las salas de espera de hospitales. Ambientada en S o Paulo y con escenas grabadas en importantes puntos tur sticos de la ciudad, la serie presenta cuatro historias diferentes, pero relacionadas a trav s de algunos personajes. Un asalto a mano armada, el suicidio de un amigo, la reconciliaci n entre padre e hijo y el redescubrimiento de la vida a trav s de un nuevo amor impregnan las historias, dando voz a personajes de m s edad. Adem s, Los Experimentados' cuenta con un elenco formado por actores que ya han participado en grandes producciones de Globo, como Beatriz Segall ( Vale Todo'), Selma Egrei ( El Astro'), Joana Fomm ( Tieta' y Boogie Oogie: El Baile de la Vida'), Juca de Oliveira ( Avenida Brasil'), Lima Duarte ( Roque Santero' e India - Una Historia de Amor') y Othon Bastos ( Imperio').
Adem s de Los Experimentados, forman parte del cat logo de Globo series como Bajo Presi n, que narra la historia de un grupo de m dicos que tienen que hacer frente a adversidades para mantener a los pacientes vivos en un hospital de pocos recursos en los suburbios de R o de Janeiro. Una coproducci n de Globo con Conspira o Filmes, la serie de nueve episodios emocion al p blico durante su exhibici n en Brasil, donde lleg a 40 millones de personas por episodio. Otra serie destacada es Carceleros, ganadora de MIP Drama Screening, de MIPTV 2017. La serie muestra los dilemas del sistema carcelario brasile o desde un punto de vista in dito: el de sus propios carceleros. Protagonizada por Rodrigo Lombardi ( India - Una Historia de Amor'), la obra es una coproducci n de Globo con Gullane Filmes y Spray Filmes.
