The documentary The smile of the Sun, producido por Goroka, (empresa del grupo Lavinia), dirigido por Guille Cascante e ideado por la agencia PHD para Promotur (Turismo de Canarias), vuelve a ser reconocido a nivel internacional al figurar como finalista en la 8 edici n de los Internationalist Awards For Innovation In Media de Nueva York, un certamen al que se han presentado cerca de 400 casos de 32 pa ses.
Estos premios, cuyos ganadores se dar n a conocer el pr ximo 6 de abril en Nueva York, est n abiertos a las empresas que participan en la estrategia y contrataci n de medios con fines publicitarios, como las agencias de publicidad, agencias de medios, departamentos de medios corporativos o cualquier otra empresa de estrategia de medios.
La nominaci n en Estados Unidos debe sumarse a los premios obtenidos ya por el documental en otros festivales. As hace unas semanas, este documental ha sido distinguido como Mejor creatividad en branded content y Mejor idea original en acci n viral online en la sexta edici n del Festival Europeo de Publicidad y Humor.
El viaje de una comunidad de inuits a las islas Canarias La sonrisa del sol' es un documental de 25 minutos de duraci n que recoge las vivencias de once inuit procedentes de Kulusuk, una peque a aldea al este de Groenlandia, en su viaje a las Islas Canarias en mayo de 2015. Una experiencia inolvidable Durante su estancia de una semana y acompa ados por Francesc Bail n, antrop logo experto en esta cultura, el grupo de once inuit que visit las Islas Canarias experimentaron bajo el clima ben volo del archipi lago una serie de vivencias, sensaciones y emociones que se han reflejado en este documental, traducido en 17 idiomas, a trav s de las im genes filmadas en las Islas y en la regi n donde viven bajo unas condiciones extremadamente dif ciles y con unas costumbres que apenas han variado a lo largo del tiempo.
