TVU Networks , the global technology leader in live IP video solutions, will showcase its popular video-over-IP solutions at Inter BEE 2015 (International Broadcast Exposition) November 18-20th at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City, Japan. TVU Networks will join its Japanese reseller Star Communications K.K. in Booth #2201 during the show.

Television Broadcasts Satellite (TVBS), the first 24-hour news network in Taiwan, has been using TVUPack mobile uplink backpack transmitters since 2010. They recently deployed multiple units of TVU One, TVU's newest, ultra-compact mobile transmitter and TVU Anywhere, a smartphone-based app which broadcasts live from a mobile device with the push of a button.
South Korea's leading broadcast network, YTN, used TVU Network's Global Rental Program to purchase TVUPacks for real-time capture and broadcast delivery of the recently completed Eurasia Friendship Railway Project. Through TVU's Rental Program, YTN's team was able to report live from Vladivostok, Moscow, Warsaw and Berlin.
TVU and Star Communications will demonstrate TVU solutions including TVU One, TVU's newest compact mobile IP newsgathering transmitter. Introduced at NAB this April, TVU One is now in production and currently shipping in quantity.
TVU One features the same proprietary Inverse StatMux Plus (IS ) technology, designed to deliver a live HD-quality picture with subsecond latency, as other popular TVU solutions, such as the MLink fixed rack IP-based video transmitter and TVUPack mobile uplink backpack transmitter. Inverse StatMux Plus enables the transmission of dependable HD quality video with less than one second latency through multiple transmission mediums including cellular, satellite, microwave, MIMO Mesh, WiFi, Ethernet and BGAN - even in the most bandwidth challenged environments including a moving vehicle.
TVU One is the company's fifth-generation live mobile IP newsgathering transmitter. It delivers the same transmission resiliency, performance, picture quality and sub-second latency of a full-size backpack transmitter in a substantially smaller and lighter form factor. TVU One features TVU Networks' patented Inverse StatMux Plus (IS ) transmission algorithm, Smart VBR technology, and the TVU.264 video codec. It's available with embedded modems can transmit simultaneously over multiple mediums.
TVU Networks provides a full portfolio of video-over-IP solutions designed to give broadcasters innovative, flexible and reliable tools to acquire live video content from anywhere and distribute it to anywhere.
The company's flagship product, the TVUPack TM8200 backpack transmitter, combines TVU's proprietary IS advanced Forward Error Correction algorithm with the TVU264 H.264 encoding engine, to enable users to maximize the bandwidth available in each network connection and transmit the most stable picture possible. It supports multiple 3G/4G LTE, microwave, satellite, WiFi and BGAN data connections. The TM8200 is also available in two alternative versions with integrated Vislink hybrid microwave and MIMO Mesh microwave.
Among the company's recent innovations is the TVU Grid - a scalable IP-based video switching, routing and distribution solution that enables broadcasters to acquire live video from different sources and distribute it to other news stations. Accessible through a web browser, TVUGrid provides the ability to seamlessly switch live, professional-quality video streams with as low as sub-second delay over IP networks to one or more Grid-enabled news stations anywhere in the world as the news is happening. TVU Grid is also compatible with the TVU Booking Service for simple and automated scheduling of live video feeds.
Other products in the TVU line up include: the MLink cellular 3G/4G LTE, satellite and microwave live video uplink transmitter; TVU Anywhere - an application that turns laptops and smart devices into transmitters; and TVUMe, an online marketplace for broadcasters to find and purchase live or recorded video content online from other broadcasters, freelancers and independent production crews from around the world.
Already in use by hundreds of leading broadcast organizations around the world, the TVU Networks family of IP transmission solutions gives broadcasters and organizations a powerful and reliable tool to distribute live video content to broadcast, online and mobile platforms.
