BroadStream Solutions Teams with Bannister Lake at NAB to Enhance Election Coverage with New Real-time Data Display Capabilities for OASYS Integrated Playout Users 24 March 2016
New Partnership with Bannister Lake enables BroadStream's customers to increase the number and types of onscreen data used to display 'in-the-moment' information such as headlines, Social Media and election results.
Atlanta, GA, USA March 24, 2016 Leading automated playout specialist, BroadStream Solutions Inc. has partnered with Bannister Lake to integrate SuperTicker Flow real-time data elements into its flagship OASYS integrated playout platform to be demonstrated at NAB 2016 (North Hall, Booth N6315).
With SuperTicker Flow, TV networks and channels that broadcast real-time content can enhance engagement with their discerning TV audiences who demand up-to-the-second information when it comes to major events such as elections, breaking news and sports championships, as well as daily news headlines and weather information.
The US Presidential election in November is anticipated to be more closely watched by an even larger global TV audience than that of 2009 when President Obama came into power , said Peter Wharton, VP Technology & Business Development at BroadStream Solutions.
Global TV coverage of the US election campaign will intensify in the run up to voting in the November election and we are very pleased to be able to offer SuperTicker Flow on our OASYS Integrated Playout platform to enhance broadcasters' coverage of this major event. SuperTicker Flow will be integrated into BroadStream's OASYS Extended Graphics Engine and Publishing software modules to deliver and display a wide range of information onscreen, including real-time news tickers, emergency alerts, breaking news, headlines, stories, events, weather updates, financial data, social media, local school closings, sports scores, traffic, ski reports, lottery results, election returns, sponsored elements, and other in-the-moment information.
