Sky News Appoints Adam Parsons as Busine Correspondent

Adam Parsons is to join the Sky News business team as Business Correspondent. He joins from the BBC's Business unit where he has been presenting Radio 5 Live's Wake up to Money' and breaking stories on Newsnight.

Recent news lines broken by Adam include getting the former head of Sainsburys, Justin King, to admit that prices in the UKs supermarkets could go up by as much as 5% in the wake of Brexit. He also secured the first sit down interview with Dominic Chappell.

Before joining the BBC, Adam was a newspaper journalist, starting on the Watford Observer, then moving to The Sunday Times, ending up as the Sports Editor of Sunday Business. He moved to the BBC in 2001 as a Sports Correspondent and covered Olympic Games, World Cups, FIFA scandals and England winning the World Cup.

Adam joins Sky News in the New Year.
