Soapie fans boycott The River' over Paulina's baby storylineFans of the 1Magic telenovela The River' are fed up with Angelina, who stole Paulina's baby and doctored DNA results.

The River's Paulina storyline has viewers ready to stop watching the 1Magic telenovela after writers let her rival Angelina get away with stealing her baby.

THE RIVER' WRITERS BETTER ASK THE QUEEN' Fans of the award-winning telenovela The River are also upset with writers for letting Angelina get away with stealing the baby even after Tshedza Pictures production announced the actress Tango Ncetezo, who's been playing Paulina since season one is leaving at the end of season five.

Co-creator Phathu Makwarela announced on social media this week that there's barrel nine episodes left of season five.,

Fans are wondering why the writers have never given Paulina a happy ending since season one; Cobra got her arrested, she lost her brothe Lindani, Angelina boycotted her wedding etc.

Just as viewers thought things are going well for Paulina, Angelina (Nokuthwala Ledwaba) bribed nurses to change the DNA results so that she can keep her baby.

The latest plot twist created a greater backlash by audiences, who are also furious with producers for killing actress Tango Ncetezo's character.
