RT gains exclusive national GAA rights for the next five years
RT today announced that it has secured key GAA rights for the next five years. The new agreement between RT and the GAA includes the rights to 31 live GAA Championship games per season on RT One and RT 2, and RT Player, and the exclusive national radio rights package for both the GAA Championships and Allianz League on RT Radio 1 . RT has also secured exclusive national Irish language radio rights on RT Raidi na Gaeltachta.

TV & Online - RT has retained the rights to 31 live GAA Championship games from 2017- 2021 for RT One and RT 2, and RT Player, in addition to highlights on The Sunday Game and Allianz League Sunday.
Radio - RT Radio 1 and RT Raidi na Gaeltachta have secured exclusive national radio rights for the next five years, to include GAA Championship 2017-2021 and GAA Allianz Leagues 2018-2022.

This new agreement means that RT Sport will continue to deliver 31 live GAA Championship games on television and on RT Player, and that RT Radio 1 and RT Raidi na Gaeltachta will be the exclusive national radio partners over the next five years, strengthening our long-standing history and association with our national games. In addition, RT will continue to broadcast Sunday night highlights on The Sunday Game and Allianz League Sunday .
