The Andalusian allocates 418.5 million to South Canal for the next three years The Governing Council approves the contract-program Corporate Public Radio Television Agency of Andalusia, which represents an investment of the Government of Andalusia of 418.5 million for the 2017-2019 triennium.
Looking ahead to ensure the stability of audiovisual body, the Governing Council has approved the contract program of Corporate Public Agency of the Radio Television of Andalusia (RTVA), which specifies the specific objectives and the allocation of financial resources for the fulfillment of its goals during the 2017-2019 triennium. The agreement will be a contribution by the Board of 418.5 million euros.
The document develops the Public Service Charter RTVA, where priorities and strategies to ensure sustained and adequate stable funding over the next six years are set.
En l neas generales, el contrato-programa fija las compensaciones econ micas que la RTVA percibir por la gesti n y prestaci n del servicio p blico de radio y televisi n y de servicios digitales conexos e interactivos, con cargo a los Presupuestos de la Comunidad Aut noma de Andaluc a. Estas cantidades se fijan en 139,5 millones de euros anuales en concepto de transferencias y aportaciones. De igual forma, se determinan los mecanismos y medios para adaptar el coste de las actividades acordadas a las posibles variaciones de la realidad econ mica y del sector audiovisual.
El documento aprobado por el Consejo establece tambi n los criterios b sicos de actuaci n de la RTVA, con especial menci n al fomento de la educaci n y la cultura; la protecci n de la infancia y las personas mayores y en riesgo de exclusi n; la transmisi n de una imagen igualitaria, plural y no estereotipada de las mujeres, y al tratamiento especialmente riguroso frente a la violencia de g nero. La entidad tambi n se compromete a incentivar la participaci n pol tica de la sociedad y el ejercicio de la democracia, respetando el pluralismo de la sociedad. En este aspecto, se valorar n criterios como la representaci n parlamentaria, la implantaci n territorial y la representatividad de las organizaciones de la vida pol tica, sindical, social y cultural.

Boost for DTT
En el mbito televisivo, el contrato-programa se marca como objetivo que la oferta en abierto de Televisi n Digital Terrestre (TDT) se convierta en una referencia audiovisual clave en la comunidad. Su programaci n se ajustar al objetivo de que la emisi n de programaci n de producci n propia se encuentre entre el 75% y el 85%. Como novedad respecto al anterior contrato, se establece que este porcentaje alcance al menos el 95% en el caso de Andaluc a Televisi n (ATV). Los programas deber n atender al equilibrio entre sexos y ser n producidos con los m ximos est ndares de calidad y con formatos de difusi n multisoporte, siempre que sea t cnica y jur dicamente posible.
Regarding the general offer on DTT, the following percentages for self-produced programs remain: news, sports including spaces, 32%; informative programs, 30%; entertainment, 15%; child, 2%, and fiction, 1%.
On the other hand, the document also includes the actions forecast for the marketing of audiovisual documentary funds and RTVA Canal Sur, with the collaboration of entities such as the Andalusian Film Institute and other national and Latin American environment.
Finally, the program contract provides for the creation of the Southern Media Channel division, responsible for the production and distribution of digital content and new channels web canalcocina, canalturismo, canalflamenco and labanda, this Finally aimed at children.
The approved document, which may be renewed annually once the three years ending 2017-2019, also foresees the need for pubic and private funds aimed at the provision, renewal and upgrading of technical equipment Canal Sur, worth 15.67 million and RTVA, for 5.40 million euros.
