BIT Audiovisual 2018 starts in Madrid with VSN most advanced media management workflow

VSN travels one more year to Madrid to attend the already traditional tradeshow BIT Audiovisual 2018. Among this year novelties are the company new corporate image and a raft of technological innovations, lead by VSNEsplorer advanced functionalities for metadata capturing, thanks to AI tools, and new Cloud tools such as VSNExplorer video editor Wedit, selected by BIT Innova 2018.

VSN participates one more year at BIT Audiovisual 2018, the tradeshow celebrated every two years in Madrid. This tradeshow gathers professionals in broadcast and audiovisual technology industries in an event where innovation plays the main role. Celebrated in Madrid Exhibition Center IFEMA from 8th to 10th May, the show attracts the main manufacturers, distributors and service providers both for traditional broadcast and cinema and new content producers and providers.

The trade show was visited the first day by the Deputy Secretary for Economy of the Community of Madrid, Javier Ruiz de Santiago, General Director for Economy and Financial Policy of the Community of Madrid, Rosario Rey Garc a, and IFEMA General Director, Eduardo L pez Puertas, who visited VSN booth.

This year, VSN showcases some of their latest technological developments at the show, among which are the new Cloud tools recently integrated within VSNExplorer platform, such as video editing with Wedit, now with voiceover and audio editing capabilities. Moreover, Wedit has been selected as BIT Innova 2018 by BIT Audiovisual organizers, who every year choose the most innovative product showcased by the exhibitors, as was VSNExplorer MAM in the Cloud at the previous edition of the show.

One of the most welcomed innovations by visitors at VSN booth has been the new automatic metadata detection functionalities of VSNExplorer MAM, thanks to the integration with Artificial Intelligence detection systems of companies such as IBM Watson, Google, Microsoft Azure or Etiqmedia. This integration makes it possible to visualize in one single screen all metadata captured by these systems from any media asset within seconds, with advanced functions such as speech-to-text, image processing, faces, objects and audio effects recognition, image feeling analysis, or text transcription and translation.

In addition, the company presents for the first time in Spain its new VSNExplorer Plugin, the MOS Media Bus 100% developed in HTML5 that allows VSNExplorer users to access advanced functionalities of the MAM system directly from the interface of their NRCS, like Octopus 8, Inception from Ross Video, iNews from Avid or ENPS from AP News, among others.

This year VSN attends the show accompanied by its spin-off MediaBank, the professional audiovisual content e-marketplace that covers the entire sales process until the final delivery to any channel or screen.
