
Berklee Alumni Nominated for 2024 Emmy Awards Twenty-one Berklee alumni received Emmy nominations this year for music composition, sound mixing, and sound editing.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences nominated 21 Berklee alumni for Emmy Awards on Wednesday, July 17. This years nominees were recognized for their mixing, editing, and music composition contributions to the industry's biggest programs and events.
Boston Conservatory at Berklee alum Scott Sites B.F.A. '85 has been recognized for the second year as a producer on the critically acclaimed ABC series Abbott Elementary in the category of Outstanding Comedy Series.
Kara Talve BM '18 has received three nominations for her work on episode one of The Tattooist of Auschwitz in the categories of Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score); Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie, or Special (Original Dramatic Score); and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. This is the second straight year she has been recognized for her musical contributions. In 2023 she received a nomination in the category of Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (Original Dramatic Score) for her contributions on the Badlands episode of the Apple TV series Prehistoric Planet.
Sal Ojeda BM '09 received his second nomination for his role as a rerecording mixer on MTV's RuPaul's Drag Race for the episode Series Body Of Work. Stephanie McNally '10 has also earned her second nomination. This year, she has been acknowledged for the episode Fallen Jedi from the Disney series Ahsoka. Pablo Mungu a PDM '98, who serves as the director of the Master of Music in music production, technology, and innovation at Berklee Valencia, has been nominated in the category of Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special for his work on the Oscars. His past television credits include working as a music and audio engineer on the Academy Awards, the Grammys, the Billboard Music Awards, the American Music Awards, and the Super Bowl halftime show.
Other alumni received Emmy nominations for work across a variety of critically acclaimed programs on various channels and platforms, including FX's Sho gun, NBC's Saturday Night Live, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, Netflix's The Crown, and Apple TV 's Masters of the Air, among others.
The 76th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 15, at 8:00 p.m. on ABC.
