RT Returns to the RDS for the 2023 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition

After two years as a virtual event, RT is delighted to return to the RDS for the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition from Thursday 12th Saturday 14th January. Not only is RT bringing a jam-packed schedule to the RDS over three days, but we will welcome visitors to a brand-new exhibition stand in the Industries Hall.

SELLO: RT 2FM Rising star, Sello (pictured) will perform during this year's BTYSTE Opening Ceremony, which starts at 2pm on Wednesday 11th January, kicking this year's proceedings off with his fresh urban sound. Following the release of his debut album, Sell tape and a sold-out headline gig at the Academy, the future is looking fierce for this exciting new Dublin artist who also features in our official promo above.

RT WEATHER PRESENT THE WEATHER: The ever-popular RT Weather Present The Weather activity returns this year, offering visitors to the brand-new RT stand the opportunity to try their hand at presenting the weather using lights, cameras, autocue and weather graphics. Some of our RT Weather presenters will be on hand to give some expert support and guidance too, and they might even spot one or two stars of the future.

LIVE RADIO & PODCASTS: RT 2FM's Tracy Clifford and Laura Fox will both broadcast their shows live from the RT set, as will Raidi na Gaeltachta's Bladhaire. Two of RT 's most popular podcasts, Ecolution and Black & Irish will also record episodes live from the RDS.
