Skinwalker could be the full moon story you've never heard before.

Vampires, werewolves, and the tokoloshe are stories existing everywhere. World cultures have different ideas of scary things. A skinwalker comes from Navajo culture, where stories say that witches turn themselves into animals - walking in their skin.

Witches, not traditional healers, are said to have the power to change into animals. According to Legends of America, the story goes that the ability is used for harm - and the right way to avoid one, is to not make eye-contact!

Some stories connect the -walkers to the full moon.
Africa has the story of the tokoloshe, creatures said to be commanded by witches - and according to legend, they can also sometimes appear to people as animals.
Zheani Sparkes: Skinwalker The term Skinwalker' also became inspiration for Zheani Sparkes, when she dropped the song by the same name.
