Actress, Connie Chiume, who plays the role of MamSonto on Gomora is set to return to the Mzansi Magic telenovela in December.

The TVSA December Thursday, 23 December 2021 states that MamSonto will viciously warn Ntokozo (Ntobeko Shishi) about hurting Mazet (Siphesihle Ndaba).

CONNIE'S TEMPORARY EXIT Her character was placed in a coma in August so that she could travel to the United States to shoot the sequel of Black Panther.

Chiume hasn't appeared on Gomora since the death of her grandson, Langa (Siya Xaba).

The actress posted a picture of herself in Atlanta on her Instagram account in July which sparked rumours that she was shooting the Marvel movie.

MamSonto is overly protective of Mazet and will warn Ntokozo to treat her right because she sees her as her daughter.

Ntokozo will feel guilty about Mazet's condition in December as she got shot trying to protect him from Don.

The pair will drift apart after Don's death this month and will rekindle their romance in December when Mazet lets her guard down.

An unfamiliar character, Phumlani, will make a move on Thathi on Thursday, 9 December, according to the TVSA teasers.

He is going to stalk Thati, kill some people close to her, and attack some of her loved ones.

Thati's mother, MamSonto, will encourage her to date him as she's going to be charmed by him.
