Last week, Showmax announced that much-loved reality series Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) seasons three will premiere on 1 February.

Along with that announcement was the new ladies joining the show as main cast members Londie London, LaConco and Thobile Mseleku will not be returning.

But, there was no word on Mabusi Seme who has been a friend of the show since the first season - as she is not a member of the main cast.

MABUSI REVEALS HER FATE ON REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DURBAN' In a statement on Friday 13 January, the businesswoman released a statement through Pears Communication on Instagram announcing that Let It Rain Film - the company behind Real Housewives of Durban - has informed her that there won't be any filming with her in the third season.

As Real Housewives of Durban embarks on its third successful season, I would love to enlighten you all that unfortunately will not be part of the phenomenal Season 3 of Real Housewives of Durban cast.

Let It Rain Films' informed me that It doesn't look like there will be any filming with you in S3'.

She also thanked the production company, Showmax and her fans.

I thank Let It Rain Films' for the great opportunity and understand that as a friend to the show, my position was never guaranteed.

It truly was a lovely journey to travel, being given this platform to create good television to inspire and aspire young aspiring females was truly a blessing hold dear to my heart!

-- MEET THE NEW CAST MEMBERS Showmax announced three new businesswomen, including Mbali Ngiba who said she joined Season 3 as it felt like a great opportunity for her to be a part of such a successful franchise amongst such amazing women.

Mbali is a musician, actress and the co-founder of African Centric Designs. She is best-known for her role as Welile in defunct Mzansi Magic telenovela Greed and Desire. She has also appeared in other telenovelas such as Isibaya and Isithembiso.

Also joining the reality series is Slindile Wendy Ndlovu who is a human resource consultant by qualification, with experience in events management and interior designing. She is also the founder of events management company Mawesi Consulting.

The third lady is Maria Valaskatzs, a television presenter, producer and writer. She is the director of media and communications agency MV Consulting and is the co-owner of video production company VKATZPK Media.
