IBC are offering over 300 young technology, media and entertainment professionals and students the chance to attend a tailored programme of sessions, masterclasses and networking events on Saturday 10 September at the RAI, Amsterdam. In addition, they will have the opportunity to get a taste of the wider IBC Conference, Exhibition, and featured events on Sunday 11 September, free of charge. IBC Rising Stars forms an integral part of the IBC2016 Conference, designed to inform, nurture and inspire the next generation. This is an unmissable opportunity to learn from top experts and innovators who will share their knowledge and actionable insights about latest industry developments, cutting edge technology, trends and career progression in an intensive one day programme.
Beginning with an overview of the media and entertainment landscape around the world, the programme provides a snapshot of important developments from content production through to platforms, engagement and, ultimately, new customer experiences. Focus then shifts in the second half of the day towards the intersection of technology, creativity and users where you can explore the concept that in the interconnected world technologists and content creatives, with ideas and vision beyond technological limitations, must work in synergy with a big unknown - the users.
In addition, Rising Stars will hear about complex broadcast setups and creative solutions to deliver new viewing experiences.
