Thapelo Molomo who reigned supreme on season 18 of Idols SA last year is reportedly selling eggs from the boot of his car and Mzansi is confused.

According to Daily Sun, the star has not blown his cash prize from the singing competition, he is just making sure that he has more than one thing going on for him.

I AM NOT BROKE' THAPELO CLARIFIES The father of one told the publication that selling eggs is another source of income for him as he does not want to rely on just one source of income.

It's a motivation for the people in the music industry to say, let's try other ways of getting money because it's difficult to get it right every time in the music space, he said.

Thapelo says being a musician is not a guarantee that you will always have money, It's better if you have a side hustle where you know you have other money coming in Don't be shy with your side hustle, he said.

The Warrant Officer encouraged musicians and people in the entertainment industry to not be shy to do the things that will sustain them in the long run.

Thapelo added, The very same business that people might laugh at is giving me money I work as both a counsellor and a musician, and I am managing well Time management and being focused are my things.

He says he is always trying to find ways to get rid of poverty.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE IDOLS SA' WINNER Today 18 January, is Thapelo's 30th birthday and birthday messages have been flowing in, with his fans wishing more grace and mercy.

He also revealed that he is working on an EP that may be dropped in February. The EP also features people who were also part of Idols SA.
