IBC 2026: SNS Validates EVO Compatibility With Avid Media Composer 2026.8, Adds Browser-Based Upload to Outpost

Studio Network Solutions (SNS) is bringing a pair of workflow updates to IBC2026 (Stand 7.B22, Sept. 11-14): validated EVO shared-storage compatibility with Avid Media Composer 2026.8 Enterprise, including support for collaborative shared projects and bin locking, and a new browser-based upload capability for Outpost, its cloud-native review-and-approval platform. Taken together, the two announcements address opposite ends of the post workflow - editors working in shared projects and the wider production team getting media into review.

EVO Validated for Media Composer 2026.8 Enterprise

SNS has confirmed EVO shared storage compatibility with Avid Media Composer 2026.8 Enterprise, including support for collaborative shared projects and bin locking.

According to SNS, creative teams upgrading to Media Composer Enterprise for collaborative bin locking and project sharing may be eligible for a discount on a new EVO system.

Browser-Based Upload Comes to Outpost

SNS has also added browser-based upload capability to Outpost, its cloud-native review and approval solution. The feature allows any production team member to upload footage, photos, or other media to their Outpost group from a web browser on any internet-connected device, including tablets and smartphones, without requiring a ShareBrowser MAM login or Adobe Premiere plugin. Uploaded files can then be shared with reviewers for feedback and collaboration. The feature is available now for unlimited users.
