Linear Acoustic will showcase its newest products at NAB 2014, including AERO.x, SDI xNode, and MT2000.
AERO.x
Compact and powerful, the half-rack AERO.x features dual, independent HD/SD-SDI paths and AES-67-compliant AoIP (Audio over IP). With its built-in AEROMAX loudness control, UPMAX upmixing/downmixing, and quad ITU-R BS.1770-3 loudness meters, the AERO.x is able to process up to 16 channels of audio. The unit also includes dual compensating video delay to ensure audio/video synchronization is maintained.
SDI xNode Built upon the success of the popular Axia xNode, the SDI xNode is a high-density HD/SD-SDI to Livewire /AES-67 Audio over IP (AoIP) interface. Featuring dual independent SDI paths, each with compensating video delay, the SDI xNode can access, shuffle, and route up to 16 channels of audio between the SDI and AoIP connections. The SDI xNode also includes all standard xNode controls including front panel and web interfaces and can be powered by AC and/or Power over Ethernet (PoE).
MT2000
The next generation in end-to-end system testing has arrived. The handheld MT2000 Multichannel Bitstream Analyzer is the ideal solution for generating and analyzing encoded audio. With AES, TOSLINK optical, 3GHz SDI, DVB-ASI, and MADI I/O along with an HDCP-compliant HDMI input, the MT2000 is able to decode and output Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby E, and PCM bitstreams.
Audio system integrators and service engineers can quickly monitor and check the integrity and composition of Dolby-encoded and PCM signals routed through production, broadcast, cable and satellite facilities, or even a home theater system.
