st Ningbo Special Cultural Expo to be held

After over a years preparation, the 1st Ningbo Special Cultural Exposition will be held at Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center from April 15 to 18, 2016. On the afternoon of November 1, at the 8th Xiamen Cultural Expo, the promotion meeting for the 2016 Ningbo Special Cultural Expo as well as the cooperation agreement signing ceremony for Ningbo Broadcasting and TV Group and Xiamen Broadcasting and TV Group was held on the afternoon of November 1 at Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center.

The expo will be sponsored by Ningbo Peoples Government, the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, and Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Industry Promotion Society, and co-hosted by the Propaganda Department of Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, Cultural Industry (China) Council, Ningbo Culture, Broadcasting, TV, Press and Publication Bureau, Ningbo Broadcasting and TV Group, and Ningbo Chinese Culture Promotion Society. Based on the geographic advantage of Ningbo as a starting port of the "marine silk road" and the brand effect of the "cultural capitals of East Asia", the expo will become an influential nationwide comprehensive culture and innovation exhibition, with the theme of "creativity and specialty" and a differentiate competitive edge compared with other similar cultural expos in China. It will consist of four sections, including exhibition and trade, award activities, theme forums and other activities. Some special activities during the expo include the cultural exchange activities between the "cultural capitals in East Asia" in China, Japan and South Korea, and the docking meetings between cultural and creative design and craftsmanship industry and the stationary manufacturing.

Ningbo Broadcasting and TV Group participated the Xiamen expo and signed a strategic cooperative agreement with Xiamen Broadcasting and TV Group on the afternoon of November 1, in the hope of introducing the quality resources of the Xiamen Cultural Expo and hold a successful expo in Ningbo in 2016.

At the promotion meeting for the expo, Ningbo Broadcasting and TV Group introduced the expo preparation work to the related exhibitors and signed cooperation intentions with some exhibitors from Taiwan.
