Megahertz Demonstrates Innovative Engineering at CABSAT2016 posted: 02/03/2016
Megahertz Ltd, a leading systems integrator and mobile broadcast production specialist, is attending CABSAT 2016 (stand ZK2-20, Dubai World Trade Centre, 8 - 10 March) to demonstrate its innovative engineering and problem-solving skills. The company specialises in custom broadcast and mobile solutions, delivering real value for money through accurately understanding and meeting user requirements.
We have been actively working in the MENA region for close to 25 years now, said Jon Flay, Managing Director at Megahertz. At this very moment we have trucks in our workshops for broadcasters and facilities companies in Oman. The team is very much looking forward to CABSAT and the opportunity to talk to our many customers and partners in the region.
Megahertz specialises in providing turnkey solutions, starting from a comprehensive analysis of the requirements, working closely with the end user to understand precisely what they need, and agreeing the technology to be incorporated. From this agreed statement of deliverables Megahertz commits to a cost and timescale, procuring and implementing equipment where required.
The Megahertz service extends to full test facilities in the workshop and on delivery, all training, and continuing support.
With the rapid changes in technology, it makes sense to use a forward-looking systems integrator like Megahertz, Flay added. We have already delivered 4k UHD-capable vehicles, and we routinely build systems which use IP for contribution and distribution links. Currently we are building SNG trucks for a major UK broadcaster which have the capability to use satellite links in rural areas but 3G/4G connectivity in cities.
