More than Video organize the day of doors open Sony Day on Wednesday, April 20. Throughout the day, in morning and afternoon sessions, rather than Video will present latest solutions of Sony for recruitment.

One of the stars of this day will be the new 4K PXW - Z150 camera. Weight, light and easy to use, incorporates a new function which gets a wireless operation and high quality recording at 4 K (3840 x 2160 to a maximum of 30 p).

It has a CMOS Exmor RS image sensor type aligned 1.0, which provides users a spectacular 4 K recording and an impressive feature slow motion 5 x in Full HD, essential function for content creators who want to offer corporate or personal productions of the highest quality.

Another advantage is the possibility of continuous recording with high frequency of picture of up to 120 frames per second (fps), all with Full HD quality. Sharper Image zoom technology works with a zoom of 24 x and 18 x HD and 4K modes respectively, in addition to the standard 12 x optical zoom. The large size of the sensor type only 20 megapixel (14.2 million effective pixels) 1.0 offers images sharp even in low lighting conditions, which provides excellent clarity and sharpness to the filmmakers and even more flexible possibilities of recording in a wide variety of environments. In response to the rising expectations in the audiovisual sector, changing at a dizzying pace, users enjoy streaming capabilities live through a wireless connection to FTP and built-in Wi-Fi.

The PXW-Z150 is ergonomically designed to offer a simple recording. The lightweight and compact body includes the integration of advanced functions, which eliminates the need to use several external accessories. The integrated steps 4 ND filter is included to provide flexibility in the control of exposure and depth of field, and multiple interface pad avoids the need of cables using a simple integration between the PXW-Z150 and Sony peripherals, such as the wireless microphone UWP-d series

The PXW-Z150 can be easily controlled by a Smartphone or a Tablet, which function as a wireless remote control, and the useful life of the battery provides a remarkable 400 minutes of continuous recording time.

Other camcorders

On the Sony Day in more that Video will also be shown the PXW - X 70, a compact 4K XDCAM camcorder with Exmor R CMOS sensor type 1.0. He has a 12 x optical zoom lens and allows recording in XAVC, AVCHD & DV, being able to work under an optional update in format 4K XAVC - Long 4.2.0 from 8-bit to 60 Mbps with broadcast MXF package.
