InfoComm 06: Yamaha s Plans Span From Digital and Analog Consoles to NUAGE

Yamaha Professional Audio will show its flagship RIVAGE PM10 along with the latest versions of CL, QL, and TF Digital Audio Consoles; MG analog mixers; the state-of-the-art NUAGE Advanced Production DAW System; and new HS-I Series speakers at InfoComm 2016 in booth #C11116.

The Yamaha RIVAGE PM10 Digital Audio Console is comprised of the CS-R10 control surface, DSP-R10 DSP digital mix engine, RPio622 and RPio222 I/O racks, three types of RY cards, and two types of HY cards providing flexibility to configure and ideally match the scale and functional requirements of any application.

The flexible NUAGE system features tight DAW software integration, groundbreaking operability, modular architecture, and Dante networking capability. NUAGE systems are currently being installed in audio postproduction and recording facilities around the world.

A very significant firmware update is now available for both CL and QL Series Digital Audio Consoles. V4.0 firmware update offers new features and enhanced operation and takes another leap forward with new Channel EQ algorithms, a Multi-Band Compressor device, a second Cue bus, and other features that provide live sound support at an even higher level. StageMix application software for use with an iPad and related software is updated as well in V6.0 and further expands the range of both consoles for enhanced creative freedom and operability. Control of the Shure ULX-D wireless microphone systems includes channel name entry, receiver gain and muting, plus monitoring of receiver gain, mute, frequency, diversity, battery, RF strength, and audio level are now available via the CL and QL Series Touch Displays. In addition, personal monitor mixing for up to 10 is now available through the no-charge MonitorMix app for IOS.

TF Series firmware update V2.5 includes a number of highly anticipated new features that will expand the appeal of the TF consoles for an even wider range of pro audio applications. V2.5 adds Matrix Outputs with output Delay, a feature that a large number of mixing engineers have requested, as well as a simple Output Delay as Insert FX that will add significantly to the flexibility of systems that include TF consoles.

With an intuitive, easy-to-use interface, the Yamaha MG Series of analog consoles boasts an extensive lineup of compact mixing consoles with models ranging from six to twenty channels, suitable for a diverse range of users and applications. For installed, recording, or live music settings, the solid construction and flexible design of these consoles lets you shape your sound with confidence, continually delivering peak performance and a level of sound quality and reliability unrivaled in its class.

The new additions to the Yamaha HS-I Series speakers include the signature sound and iconic Yamaha white woofer, along with mounting points compatible with optional brackets for wall, ceiling, and baton mount applications. The speakers are available in both black and white.
