Aveco Introduces ASTRA Suite of Tools v 4.2 with Upgrades to MAM, MCR Automation, and Ingest at NAB New York
New York, November 11, 2015 At NAB New York (formerly Content & Communications World CCW), Aveco , the worldwide studio production automation and master control specialist, is demonstrating the latest version (4.2) of ASTRA Suite of Tools, which includes major upgrades to ASTRA MAM, ASTRA MCR, ASTRA News, and ASTRA Ingest. NAB New York takes place at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, November 11 and 12, 2015.
A full complement of tools ASTRA Suite of Tools includes multi-studio production automation, media asset management, workflow automation, master control automation, news/live assist, ingest, hierarchical storage management, and interfaces to NRCS, traffic system, streaming devices, transcoders, and other applications.
Significant updates include:
ASTRA MAM media asset management support within ASTRA Suite of Tools includes Avid Interplay/Blue Order, Anvato, EVS, and SAM (Snell/Quantel).
ASTRA MCR master control room includes new features to support regionalization via stream-splicing and other forms of remote insertion.
ASTRA Ingest includes Archive Mass Ingest with tape log integration and videotape robotic control, mass ingest, transcoding management, and LTO robotic output, with house-MAM integration.
