JVC and Sportzcast present camera 4K GY - HM200SP (Sports Production) marker results in real time This version of this model JVC 4K, with built-in streaming generator, special integrates a marker of results for the coverage of sporting events without having to use any graphic generator or mixer external, that it is now possible to update the data live thanks to an agreement between JVC and Sportzcast.
JVC It has signed a collaboration agreement with Sportzcast, an American company of TV services for sporting events in order to provide real time camera GY-HM200SP sports results in the form of scoreboard.
Camera GY-HM200SP (Sports Production) with integrated electronic scoreboard, is a version of that house adapted to coverage of sporting events that integrates an electronic marker that is inserted into the live image, the flow of streaming without using any graphic generator or external mixer or recorded content.
Although the GY-HM200SP camera operators can enter data directly from a mobile device that connects wirelessly to the camera, Sportzcast eliminates the need to update manually marker information. Through your hardware Scorebot, integrated with the system of electronic scoreboard in the stadium that held the event, Sportzcast receives the data from the event or party, processes them and transferred them directly in real time to the camera.
Sportzcast Mike Connell explains that "the GY-HM200SP is one of the most unique cameras available on the market", because of its built-in Dialer. Apart from the ability of direct broadcasting of content live thanks to the generators streaming carrying the camera, he also stated that the camera is useful for the training of athletes, using basic image analysis, since it can provide timer, score and other information for easy reference when the images are used for training or a party a posteriori review.
Graphic templates
GY-HM200SP camera originally includes a set of specific templates for various sports such as American football, European football, volleyball and others, even if JVC has also announced an external application that will soon be available for free download on their website, which allows to store up to 90 names of teams and logos, with additional customization option in the camera.
"Our innovative GY-HM200SP is changing the way of doing things in this field; the capacity offered by the GY-HM200 opens powerful applications for clubs, sports organizations or schools who need to produce content quickly in agile way and/or with limited resources, even using a single camera", said Ian Scott, Vice President of the JVCKenwood USA Video Products Division. "It allows a single operator to take images, insert graphics, record and transmit live the party directly from the camera. Now, Sportzcast enhances workflow even more by introducing the information of the results of the event directly on the camera, with which the operator can focus more on delivering the best images,"added Scott.
Beyond the capacity of built-in graphics insertion, the GY-HM200SP includes an optical 12 x zoom with optical image stabilizer and dynamic zoom 24 x in HD mode. The camera records images 4K Ultra HD 4:2:2, Full HD (50 Mbps) and SD and includes 2 XLR audio inputs, handle integrated with hot shoe and dedicated microphone as well as SDI and HDMI outputs. The GY-HM200SP also has a generator of streaming HD integrated with Wi-Fi connectivity and 4G LTE, which allows live HD streaming directly to CDNs free like YouTube or Ustream or other professional CDNs as ENETRES. It also allows the use of decoders dedicated as the BR-D800 from JVC that delivers more output HD SDI or HDMI as a signal source in the Centre of production.
