NI & iZotope join forces

New Audio Creator Group formed

Audio processing and restoration experts iZotope and software instrument veterans Native Instruments have joined forces, and are now part of a new Audio Creator Group backed by investment firms Francisco Partners and EMH Partners.

Fans of both companies software neednt worry about changes to their hugely successful product ranges - the press release tells us that There will be no structural changes to either entity, with both continuing under the same leadership, and with the same established teams - but it is anticipated that future products from both brands will benefit from the others expertise and intellectual property.

About the move, iZotope CEO Mark Ethier has said: iZotope and Native Instruments share the same mission to inspire and enable creativity. We both look to make it easier for engineers, producers and musicians to realize their creative vision, and together, we will be able to break down barriers that have stood in the way of that goal for decades. With iZotope's intelligent processing, and Native Instrument's innovative offerings, I can't wait to see what artists will create.
