Live music is coming back to the American Tobacco Campus thanks to a partnership with Duke Performances. A free four-show series at the American Tobacco Campus Amphitheater will kick off Sept. 15, featuring North Carolina alt rock, folk, and soul musicians.
Duke Performances is partnering with American Tobacco Campus will present the four-part lineup of acclaimed North Carolina-based artists in the open-air amphitheater free and open to all.
The series kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 15, with The Veldts signature shoegaze-soul, followed the next week by Rissi Palmers Southern Soul (Sept. 22), local singer-songwriters Skylar Gudaszs genre-fluid vocalizations (Sept. 29) and closes with The Dead Tongues folk rock Friday, Oct. 1.
The feeling will evoke Music in the Gardens, the annual summer series by Duke Performances, but in the downtown setting of the American Tobacco Campus with its unique offering of local restaurants including Parker & Otis and Boricua Soul.
