Obsidian Control Systems is pleased to announce that the complete lineup of NETRON data distribution products is now in stock and ready to ship from US and European warehouses.

NETRON is Obsidian Control Systems' new, comprehensive range of DMX Splitters and Ethernet to DMX gateways, supporting applications from live production and venue installations to architectural environments. Featuring outstanding build quality, advanced feature sets and smart mounting options, they perform at a level of reliability demanded by today's market.

NETRON offers smart solutions for professional lighting and AV markets. Developed with the user in mind, NETRON products combine tough hardware with smart software for fast setup and solid performance. Rugged and reliable, all NETRON products are easy to configure, through either the internal OLED screen and encoder or the integrated, modern web menu system, which works from PC, MAC and any mobile device.

With increasing fixture counts and continuous growth in the number of Universes used on a show, the need for reliable data distribution has never been greater. Obsidian Control Systems has designed NETRON to be the perfect solution at an amazing value.

The NETRON range offers three Ethernet to DMX gateways and three RDM splitters:

EN12: The NETRON EN12 is a powerful, high-density Ethernet to DMX gateway with twelve RDM compatible ports. Easy to configure with a range of integrated presets plus a wide array of advanced merge and routing features, it is the ideal device for live production or installations requiring a large number of physical DMX ports. Contact closures allow for recall of presets, routings, mergers or any of the internal cues.

EN4: The NETRON EN4 is a powerful Ethernet to DMX gateway with four RDM compatible ports. Designed for live production and installations with a rugged housing and high-performance processing, it offers flexible rack, truss, wall or DIN-Rail mounting options to cover any situation.

EP4: The NETRON EP4 is a compact Ethernet to DMX gateway with four RDM compatible ports. It is configurable via its internal web remote and powered over Ethernet or via the USB-C connection. It supports truss, wall or DIN-Rail mounting options to cover any situation.

All Ethernet to DMX gateways support sACN, Art-NET, RDM and offer dynamic web remote configuration, while internal presets for the most common uses offer plug-and-play deployments. Some 99 cues can be stored and recalled over web, display or DMX remote for simple standalone playback possibilities.

Three variants of RDM splitter round out the range:

RDM 6XL: The NETRON RDM 6XL is a rugged and compact DMX/RDM Splitter. Designed for live production and installations, it features six opto-isolated 5pin XLR outputs, front or back DMX In and Thru ports, locking power passthrough plus flexible rack, truss, wall or DIN-Rail mounting options to cover any situation.

RDM 645: The NETRON RDM 645 is identical to the RDM 6XL but offers installation-friendly ESTA-compliant RJ45 DMX ports on front and back.

RDM 10: The NETRON RDM 10 is a first-of-its-kind hybrid splitter. Dual DMX input, 10-port RDM Splitter, Merger and EtherDMX Gateway are unified into the RDM 10 with an advanced feature set to cover a wide variety of applications. Some 99 internal cues, factory and user presets plus external contact closures provide a unique combination of multiple devices to solve many tasks in one powerful unit.
