Entertainment magazine and celebrity gossip show, The Real Goboza, confirmed on Twitter yesterday (12 November) that tonight marks the end of the Urban Brew show.

The SABC allegedly pulled the plug on the popular show after 14 years, due to poor ratings'.

Entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, confirmed that the channel cancelled both RGB and Live AMP this year back in July.

The current presenters, Sinazo Yolwa and Samora Mangezi, will be joined by former RGB hosts, Pearl Thusi, Kuli Roberts, and more media personalities tonight to bid farewell to the show.
They will also be joined by House of Zwide actor, Khaya Dladla, entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela as well as Ma Blerh, and Ms LeloB.
The show which is produced by Urban Brew returned for the last season on 17 July.

PREVIOUS THE REAL GOBOZA' HOSTS The show became popular when it was hosted by comedian, Trevor Noah, TV and radio personality, Phat Joe, TV producer, Dineo Ranaka, and actresses Amanda du Pont, Pearl Thusi, Kuli Roberts, etc.
Current co-host Sinazo Yolwa, who's been with the show for nearly eight years stated in an interview that a lot has changed over the years since she joined the show.
She also added that it is very sad for her to bid farewell to the show as it has been a part of her life for a long time, and taught her so much of what she knows today.
Viewers can watch the last installment of the popular celebrity gossip show tonight (13 November) at 19:30 on SABC 1.
