CURE Insurance Arena Installs New Daktronics Displays

CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey, has partnered with Daktronics to install a five-display centerhung system and three entrance displays. Installed this summer, the displays support live event presentations inside the arena and show welcome messaging, event information, and branding as guests enter.

The centerhung configuration presents replays, game information, and sponsor recognition during events. Four LED screens each measure more than 8 feet high by 13 feet wide, and an LED ring display circles the bottom of the configuration, measuring nearly 3.5 feet high by 57.5 feet in circumference. Each screen has 5.9-millimeter pixel spacing.

Three LED displays above the entry gates each measure approximately 1.5 feet high by 21.5 feet wide, with 2.9-millimeter pixel spacing. The system runs on Daktronics Show Control, which integrates display control software, video processing, data integration, and playback hardware into a single production platform. The installation works with the existing Daktronics concourse signage.

Additional equipment includes an LED basketball game clock and shot clock, five locker room clocks, and a backboard LED light strip kit. The arena will also receive a digital content package from Daktronics Creative Services. The installations were supported by the Mercer County Improvement Authority and Mercer County.

These new digital platforms will also create valuable opportunities for our partners to share their messaging with our fanbase, strengthening brand visibility and engagement throughout the arena. These installations were made possible through the support of the Mercer County Improvement Authority and Mercer County, as we continue to invest in enhancing the guest experience and welcoming visitors to Mercer County.

This most recent installation complements and works seamlessly with the existing Daktronics concourse signage, allowing them to communicate with their fans from the streets, through the concourses and into the main seating bowl.
