Expertenteam realisiert zustandsorientierte Wartungsstrategie bei Produktion von Spezialpapieren
Fit f r die Zukunft mit intelligenter Schaeffler-Zustands berwachung
Ob in Form von Kassenzetteln, Kontoausz gen oder Tickets jeder Art - Thermopapier ist allgegenw rtig. Seine besondere Eigenschaft erlangt das Papier durch eine spezielle Beschichtung, den Strich . Rund 300 Tonnen Thermopapier durchlaufen die Streichmaschine 3 bei der Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH in Bielefeld (MPEB) t glich. 26 L ftereinheiten sorgen f r die ber hrungslose Trocknung des bestrichenen Papiers. Seit Anfang 2014 berwachen 26 FAG SmartCheck-Systeme von Schaeffler diese Ventilatoren auf abweichende Schwingungen. So lassen sich unplanm ige Maschinenausf lle vermeiden, die Produktion optimieren und Gesamtbetriebskosten reduzieren.
Lager berwachung und Prozessmonitoring dank FAG SmartCheck
Die 26 L ftereinheiten an Streichmaschine 3 bei MPEB bestehen aus Zuluftventilatoren mit einem Durchmesser von ber einem Meter und einem Gewicht von rund 100 Kilogramm, und etwas kleineren, leichteren Abluftventilatoren. Wenn sich ber 100 Kilogramm Ventilatormasse mit einer Drehzahl von 1.500 Umdrehungen pro Minute bewegt, kommt es im Laufe der Zeit zu Unwucht, die direkt zulasten der Lagerung geht. Wird diese Unwucht nicht rechtzeitig erkannt und behoben, ist Minderproduktion oder Produktionsstillstand die Folge.
Dies war Mitte 2013 der Fall. Wegen einer nicht rechtzeitig erkannten Unwucht fiel an Streichmaschine 3 ein L fter komplett aus. Neben der Lagerung waren auch Anbauteile stark besch digt. Es kam zu einem kurzfristigen Anlagenstillstand und einer anschlie enden Reduzierung der Produktionsgeschwindigkeit. Die L sung: Zustands berwachung mit dem FAG SmartCheck. Er zeigt Grenzwert berschreitungen ber eine Statusanzeige per Ampelfunktion rechtzeitig an um Lagerausf lle und damit verbundene Stillst nde zuk nftig zu vermeiden. ndert sich der Status von gr n auf gelb, liegt eine Unwucht au erhalb der Norm vor. Die Anlage kann aber vorerst regul r weiterlaufen. Ein roter Alarm bedeutet akuten Handlungsbedarf. ber einen integrierten Webserver kann das Bedienpersonal auf jeden einzelnen Sensor zugreifen und sich detaillierte Informationen anzeigen lassen.
Das Projekt wurde zusammen mit der Firma Werthenbach umgesetzt, die die Informationen der Sensoren bei Bedarf an die Spezialisten von Schaeffler bermittelt. Diese benennen wiederum nicht nur das Problem, sondern erstellen auch eine schriftliche Handlungsempfehlung. Da das System bis zu drei Monate im Vorfeld eine erste Warnung ber den gelben Voralarm meldet, ist ausreichend Zeit, um einen Anlagenstillstand zu planen und Ersatzteile zu bestellen. Stillst nde werden somit vermieden. Als autorisierter Vertriebspartner realisiert Werthenbach mithilfe des W lzlagerspezialisten Schaeffler und dessen Serviceexperten seit Jahrzehnten Projekte unter anderem rund um die Zustands berwachung.
Die Monitoringl sung erm glicht neben der reinen Lager berwachung ein komplettes Prozessmonitoring. Je ein FAG SmartCheck berwacht die Schwingungen einer L ftereinheit. Dabei haben die beiden Stehlager und das L fterrad jeweils ein eigenes Schwingungsmuster. Mithilfe der Datenhistorie lassen sich Trendkurven erstellen, auf deren Grundlage R ckschl sse auf Maschinenzustand und Prozesse gezogen werden k nnen. So l sst sich oft sogar erkennen, wann und warum ein Problem zum ersten Mal aufgetreten ist, um es endg ltig zu beheben. Basierend auf aussagekr ftigen Daten kann MPEB langfristig das Verhalten der Aggregate unter sich st ndig ndernden Produktionsbedingungen verfolgen und gezielt konstruktive Verbesserungen vornehmen.
Erfolgreiches Pilotprojekt
Bereits wenige Monate nach Inbetriebnahme bewies das Monitoringsystem sein K nnen und meldete Auff lligkeiten an zwei Abluft-Schwebetrocknern. Das Werthenbach-Serviceteam erfasste die Daten und f hrte eine erste Analyse durch. Die Experten von Schaeffler stellten die Ergebnisse und eine Handlungsempfehlung in einem schriftlichen Report zusammen. Der Grund f r die Auff lligkeiten waren eine unzul ssig hohe Unwucht sowie ein Au enringlagerschaden. Beide Probleme konnten durch eine geplante Wartung zeitnah behoben werden, lange bevor die Unwucht h r- oder sp rbar geworden oder es gar zu Sch den an angrenzenden Komponenten gekommen w re. Eine aufw ndige, langwierige Fehlersuche und h here Folgekosten lie en sich vermeiden.
Aufgrund der guten Ergebnisse des Pilotprojektes hat sich Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe entschlossen, die Streichmaschine am Standort Flensburg ebenfalls mit dem FAG SmartCheck auszustatten. 22 Systeme berwachen dort mittlerweile die Schwingungen an elf Zu- und Abluftventilatoren.
