The South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) announced the winners in the Non-Fiction and Technical categories on Friday 18 March at a gala event held at Gallagher Estate in Midrand.
In the TV Comedy categories, ZANews: Puppet Nation and Those Who Can t each garnered three awards, while Umlilo took three awards in the TV Drama categories. The biggest winner of the night was Ingoma, which took home seven SAFTAs for in the Made for TV Movie category. Another prominent winner was Dis ek, Anna which won three awards in the Feature Film categories including for Best Achievement in Scriptwriting.
