Bollywood comes to Madrid to present the awards of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Three Gala will be held from 23 to 26 June and within the IIFA-MADRID 2016: the delivery of the Bollywood Awards, IIFA Rocks musical gala, and a third gala, IIFA Stomp, an exhibition of urban trends.

As already said, Audiovisual panorama the last week, from 23 to 26 June, Madrid will host all the Bollywood industry with the celebration in the city of annual awards that delivers the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA). The city will live an international spectacle that goes beyond the delivery of film awards and which covers the world of music, fashion, culture and the strengthening of the links between Madrid and India.

The Mayor of Madrid, Manuela Carmena, has been in charge of presenting the 17th edition of the IIFA Weekend and Awards along with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Yb ez, the Director of the office of culture and tourism of the community of Madrid, Anunciada Fern ndez de C rdova, CEO of TourEspa a, Marta Blanco and the Ambassador of India, Vikram Misri. Also in the presentation have participated the director of the IIFA, Andr Timmins, director of Wizcraft International (organizers), Sabbas Joseph and three Bollywood stars: Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire) and Hrithik Roshan.

Weekend IIFA-MADRID 2016

IIFA-MADRID 2016, which will be held in IFEMA, will consist of three galas: the IIFA Green Carpet and Awards, the ceremony of awards, IIFA Rocks music gala, featuring the best artists of the Indian music industry, a third gala, called IIFA Stomp & Rang Jam: which consists of an exhibition of urban trends (electronic music (, fashion,...).

In addition, weekend has rigged the call for a Global Business Forum organized by the Federation of Chambers of Indian Commerce (FICCI, for its acronym in English) and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain.

The actress and two Bollywood actors who have participated in the presentation, Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor (Slumdog Millionaire) and Hrithik Roshan, have taken advantage of his trip to Madrid to perform some promotional videos of the capital, with which, during the next few months and through a wide tourist campaign, will be shown to the audience of the India some of the most emblematic places in Madrid.
