The Brazilian EPTV hones its new mobile unit in HD with Grass Valley solutions Entre las soluciones que la nueva m vil incluye destaca una docena de c maras LDX WorldCam, as como otras tantas unidades de control intercambiables XCU WorldCam (con soporte para fibra y triaxial) y un mezclador Karrera con K-Frame.

La brasile a Empresa Paulista de Televis o (EPTV), integrada en la red TV Globo, pensando en el pr ximo Mundial ha cambiado su unidad m vil SD por un nuevo veh culo totalmente equipado para la producci n en vivo en alta definici n.

Entre las soluciones de Grass Valley que la nueva m vil incluye destaca una docena de c maras LDX WorldCam, as como otras tantas unidades de control intercambiables XCU WorldCam (con soporte para fibra y triaxial) y un mezclador Karrera con K-Frame.

Jos Francisco Valencia, director t cnico en EPTV, reconoce que est bamos buscando una soluci n completa de c mara completa que cumpliera con una serie de requisitos, con una calidad de imagen superior y gran versatilidad. Las estaciones base XCU son aut nticos caballos de carga. Podemos intercambiarlos entre la m vil el estudio o cualquier otro lugar dando pleno soporte a las c maras LDX WorldCam .

Para un control optimizado, la serie LDX opera conjunto con las estaciones base XCU, proporcionando una conectividad total de transmisi n 3G, triax y fibra. Partiendo de un bastidor premontado y precableado con conexiones mec nicas y el ctricas seguras, las XCU pueden desplazarse de una localizaci n a otra con los param tros almacenados en la XCU EEPROM.

Las LDX WorldCam son c maras basada en sensores CMOS Xensium-FT, lo que les ofrecer una excelente calidad de imagen incluso en condiciones de poca luz. En cuanto al mezclador Karrera, es una soluci n ligera ideal para unidades m viles que presenta unos controles familiares, interfaz intuitiva, y un m nimo de tiempo de formaci n, que se traduce en configuraciones r pidas. Soporta 3G 1080p50/60 HD, mientras que la tecnolog a K-Frame a ade un enfoque modular basado en software con capacidad de actualizaci n.
