March 0 4: the week live streaming came of age

The week live streaming came of age Demonstrating the critical role it increasingly plays in the global community, last week showcased live content delivery supercharged.

With our live streaming technology supplying feeds of the Pistorius trial in South Africa, Harlem explosion in New York, and the Malaysian Airlines missing aeroplane, mainstream news audiences were able to access live coverage of quickly evolving situations via leading news outlets, staying on top of the news that matters to them.

Showing its maturity in facilitating the dissemination of information that has real global impact, live streaming technology demonstrated the vital role it plays in the growth of the global community.

Last week was about getting critical information to people that needed it. Our technology and services enabled global audiences to follow the International Courts of Justice Croatia v Serbia trial, showing an entire nation that justice is finally being done. Similarly, the delivery of live content from Ukraine served to keep developments at the forefront of the international news agenda as and when they occurred.

With topics such as human trafficking and nuclear testing, economic crises and political instability from Libya, Somalia, and Ukraine being considered by the world's leading organisations including the United Nations, Council of Europe and Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization and live video coverage beamed direct to audiences viewers were able to follow decisive moments direct from the source.

Last week clearly illustrated the strength and logic of what we do and why. But now it's Monday morning, and we're recharged and ready to do it all again as another week at the centre of live content delivery looms large.
