Bitcentral Appoints New CEO from the Board and Promotes GM of its Core Business to COO Role

Bitcentral Inc.,an industry-leading provider of efficient media workflows for linear TVs and CTVs, today announced management team changes that will advance its efforts to enable media publishers to maximize the value of their video content investments.

The changes bring on Steve Petilli, long-time Bitcentral Board Member, as its CEO; Fred Fourcher, Bitcentral's founder continues his role as Chairman of the Board; and Sam Peterson is appointed COO.

It's our aim to deliver industry-leading media workflows for linear TV broadcast and the streaming media market. Our expertise allows media publishers to simplify the production, asset management, distribution, and monetization of video content to broadcast and streaming audiences, said Fred Fourcher, Chairman, Bitcentral. The appointments of Steve and Sam, who both have track records of operational business success, will see them work together to ensure that our solutions continue to meet all customer needs.

Fred and the board appointed Steve Petilli to the role of CEO due to his in-depth knowledge of Bitcentral, the markets it operates in and his strong leadership.

Steve has been deeply involved with Bitcentral for over two decades as a member of the board.He has high-level expertise and experience in streaming and watch party platforms, wireless services, and linear broadcast.Hefounded, built, and sold several high-tech companies.Exits include Pivotal Technologies and Networks in Motion. Pivotalwassold to Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO), andNetworks in Motion was sold to Telecommunications Systems (NASDAQ: CMTL).Steve serves on multiple company boards, is an investor in Bitcentral and a Limited Partner in several Venture Funds.

Sam Peterson is promoted to COO, after successfully directing all activities for Bitcentral's foundational solutions, which included product management, development, and quality assurance. Prior to joining Bitcentral, he spent 20+ years inleadership positions at large, industry-leading corporations, holding management rolesacross automation, playout, news production, live production, and streaming.
