CES 2017 attendees get excited! NAGRA's demos at the Las Vegas convention (Jan. 5-8) will feature the latest in content protection and user experience solutions to connect people to the content they love.
For the first time in the North American market, NAGRA will showcase TVkey. A 2017 CES Innovation Award honoree, TVkey is a simple USB dongle that enables consumers to enjoy a wide array of premium pay-TV services without the need for additional set-top boxes or remote controls.
NAGRA will also demonstrate how service providers can excel through a consistent and optimized user experience that gracefully extends across a wide range of home viewing use cases, including a rich intuiTV-like experience on set-top boxes by SmarDTV as well as popular retail devices.
Other presentations will include an essential rundown on the increasingly prevalent pirate IPTV set-top boxes that are threatening the pay-TV business. The company will describe strategies for successfully managing these STBs by using the only holistic approach that can provide real content protection, which includes NAGRA anti-piracy services and NexGuard forensic watermarking solutions.
