The SVG Europe and SVG Americas teams are onsite in Amsterdam for IBC 2025. As the production and broadcast industry gathers to launch new products and reconnect, the SVG team is out in force in the exhibition halls of the RAI to gather and share the latest news with the SVG community. You'll find all the key announcements and news here with daily updates through Monday.

Today's issue includes exhibitors from Halls 8-10, including Adder, arkona, Audio-Technica, Calrec Audio, Clear-Com, Cobalt Digital, G&D, Grass Valley, Hitomi Broadcast, Kiloview, KOKUSAI DENKI Electric, Lawo, Leader, NETGEAR, Prodys, Riedel Communications, Ross Video, Salsa Sound, Sennheiser, Shure, Solid State Logic, Telos Alliance, Qvest, Vislink, and Vizrt.

Hall 8 Adder (Stand 8.B65) will showcase how its IP KVM solutions power smarter, more connected production environments. Visitors can experience hands-on demos across post-production and live broadcast workflows, exploring how Adder delivers flexibility, scalability, and seamless control. Exclusive 30-minute sessions-available in English, French, Spanish, and German-will introduce IP KVM in broadcast contexts. Attendees can also connect with Adder experts, enjoy informal networking over drinks, and see partner integrations with EVS Cerebrum and Elgato. From future-ready infrastructure to optimized workflows, Adder invites the industry to unlock the full potential of IP KVM.

At IBC2025, arkona (Stand 8.A69) and intoPIX unveil the JXS16 app for arkona's BLADE//runner AT300, boosting JPEG XS density with 16 UHD channels per card. Compliant with SMPTE ST 2110-22, it ensures ultra-low latency, visually lossless quality, and efficient bandwidth. Alongside manifold Technologies, arkona showcases IP core infrastructure and multiviewers, including manifold Cloud, an ultra-low latency multiviewer. Blade//runner enhancements feature the IP Audio (IPA) app for control integration and the JXS16 app, supporting up to 128 UHD channels in 3RU. Globally deployed in OB trucks and production control rooms, these solutions transform live broadcast and esports workflows.

Audio-Technica (Stand 8.D46) is preparing an interactive broadcast microphone showcase for IBC2025. Visitors can experience video content with accompanying audio captured by their microphones, routed over a Dante network to ATH-M50X headphones. The BP3600 immersive audio microphone, favored by broadcasters like Dorna for MotoGP, will be a central highlight, demonstrating 9.1.4 mixes processed into binaural rendering. Other microphones, including the BP899 lavalier and U851R boundary microphone, will also be available.

Calrec Audio (Studio 8.C47) will present significant updates for its Argo consoles at IBC2025, focusing on usability and customization. The new v1.4 Argo software, previewed on the 48-fader Argo S console, includes enhanced routing strip functionality, customizable meter layouts via a Tiles feature, and a streamlined mix-minus workflow. Improvements for DAW control of MIDI, NMOS Control, and interfacing with Calrec Connect are also part of the update. Additionally, Calrec will highlight its Type R modular IP mixing system with new features like off-air record and enhanced GPIO talkback.

Cobalt Digital (Stand 8.D83)will present an expanded line of IPMX-compliant and plug and play' ST 2110 solutions at IBC2025. New Sapphire BBG-2110 compact mini converters will debut, supporting HDMI inputs and 10G/25G Ethernet. The Pacific 9992-ENC encoder now fully supports ST 2110-20 and offers a JPEG-XS option. Cobalt is also introducing a new base model Aria AUD-MON audio monitor and the Aria OG-AUD4-Dante bidirectional audio card. Enhancements to the UltraBlue MV-SW multiviewer will also be featured.

Guntermann & Drunck (G&D) (Stand 8.51) will showcase KVM and video processing solutions at IBC2025. The new VisionVS, co-developed with VuWall, combines KVM control and video wall visualization, transmitting two encrypted video streams simultaneously. The PersonalWorkplace-Controller, a flexible multi-viewing tool, allows control of multiple signals on customizable screens, ideal for control rooms and production studios. G&D will also demonstrate space-saving KVM and matrix solutions for OB vans and live studios, which centralize control and reduce noise and heat in working environments.

At IBC 2025, Lawo (Stand 8.B90) will showcase its latest IP-native broadcast and media production innovations, highlighting software-defined workflows, flexible deployment, and cloud-ready architecture. Key launches include HOME 4.0 with a simplified licensing model, the 15th HOME App, and upgrades to the VSM control system. Visitors can also experience the Dynamic Media Facility demo, the new Lawo Workspaces for browser-based control, and the virtualized HOME Power Core DSP. Enhancements to .edge gateways, mc audio consoles, and radio software further underscore Lawo's commitment to agile, scalable, next-generation workflows.

Prodys (Stand 8.C71) will debut innovations in its Quantum2 W/XL portable and Quantum2 AV studio audio/video codecs at IBC2025. Quantum2 W/XL portable units offer H.264/HEVC video streaming with ultra-low latency, comprehensive audio routing, and Brave Bonding Technology for network reliability across LAN, Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G. The Quantum2 AV studio unit combines dual stereo audio and bidirectional video transmission in a compact device, with built-in remote production tools like WebCommentator. Prodys will also showcase its Cloud Codecs for flexible, large-scale audio and video stream replication and distribution.
