PBS Programs Win 5 Daytime Emmy Awards

Winners of the Daytime Emmy Awards were announced on April 30 and May 1 from Los Angeles. PBS programs won 15 Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, more than any other network, including five for THE MIND OF A CHEF, four for ODD SQUAD, three for SESAME STREET, two for PEG + CAT and one for THIS OLD HOUSE.

In addition to the 15 Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Frank Welker, the voice of Curious George, and Sonia Manzano, Maria on SESAME STREET, were honored with Lifetime Achievement Awards at the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
