Post-Production Toolsets From Adobe, Facilis & Boris FX/Imagineer At May Editors Lounge

The Editors' Lounge returns Friday, May 20th with presentations on all the latest post-production toolsets from Adobe, Facilis Technology and Imagineer Systems, mocha Pro. The event is hosted by AlphaDogs Post Production located at 1612 W Olive Ave., Suite 200, Burbank, CA 91506 beginning at 6:30 pm and is free to attend. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite beverage with complimentary food provided by the Editors' Lounge.

In a special presentation, Product Specialist Mary Poplin will show the newest tools co-developed by Boris FX & Imagineer: Boris Continuum Complete (BCC) and the upcoming mocha Pro 5 plug-in that brings high-end visual effects tools to the editor's timeline. BCC 10 is a major new plug-in release that features integrated mocha masking in every filter. Beauty Studio for digital make-up and skin smoothing, Title Studio for 2D/3D titling, image restoration, new transitions and more. BCC 10 currently supports Adobe, Avid, OFX (Resolve & Sony Vegas) with more hosts including Apple FCP X and NUKE coming soon. Mocha Pro 5 plug-in, that will be released soon, brings the Academy Award-winning planar tracking technology, rotoscoping, object removal and stabilization directly into host timelines-creating a quicker and more efficient workflow for post-production and VFX needs. The mocha Pro 5 plug-in will soon be available for Adobe, Avid & OFX (Resolve & Nuke).

Al Mooney, Senior Product Manager with Adobe, and Victoria Nece, Product Manager, motion graphics and visual effects at Adobe, will discuss how Adobe Creative Cloud empowers users to create visually stunning videos faster with industry-leading video and audio apps, including Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Adobe After Effects CC, Adobe Audition and Adobe Media Encoder CC. Easy-to-use color and audio tools and support for the latest formats are offered in a single integrated workflow. Mooney and Nece will also demonstrate how the latest innovations will continue to make Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC the market leading NLE and motion graphics applications.

Jim McKenna, VP of Marketing with Facilis Technology will be presenting the latest collaborative shared storage solutions including the SSD hybrid arrays and hybrid configurations for 4K+, HDR and VR workflows along with Facilis FastTracker integrated asset tracking. FastTracker delivers fast searching and access of up to 1 million assets with no external workstation required. FastTracker is currently available to eligible Facilis customers at no charge for a limited time. McKenna will also show how the integrated Adobe project sharing on Facilis solutions works through the standalone Anywhere Collaboration Hub.

The Editors' Lounge offers the opportunity to learn from post-production industry peers and networking with new and old friends.
