Haworne Direct Founder/CEO Tim Haworne to be Inducted into Second Annual Direct Response Hall of Fame

Tim Hawthorne, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Hawthorne Direct, a full service brand response advertising agency, has been inducted into the Direct Response Hall of Fame, it has been announced by Response Magazine and its Advisory Board.

As a new inductee into the Direct Response Hall of Fame, Hawthorne joins nine additional legendary leaders in the direct response marketing business. The inductees for this, the second class, of the Direct Response Hall of Fame also include Chickie Bucco, AJ Khubani, Collette Liantonio, Tony Little, Billy Mays, Suzanne Somers, Gary West, Mary West and Katie Williams.

Following on last year's successful debut of the Direct Response Hall of Fame - an idea that was years in the making - we're thrilled to welcome this second group of inductees, said Thomas Haire, Editor-in-Chief, Response Magazine.

The group of 10 will be honored at an induction ceremony during the 2014 Response Expo to be held in San Diego, May 1. The event will be hosted on the Expo Hall floor beginning at 3 p.m., and follows a special panel discussion with a group of Hall of Fame inductees - including Hawthorne - that will take place from 1:45-2:45 p.m. at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

What a wonderful group this second class of inductees to the DR Hall of Fame is, adds John Yarrington, Publisher of Response Magazine. Each inductee brings his or her own amazing success story to the table. And with more than 30 nominees submitted once again by our Advisory Board and the 2013 inductees, the breadth of service to the DR business displayed by the members of this new group again displays just what it will take to join the ranks of the DR Hall of Fame in the coming years.

The new group of Hall of Fame members joins the 2013 class of nine inductees: Jim Caldwell, Frank Cannella, Bill Guthy, Kevin Joseph Lyons, Joe Pedott, Ron Popeil, Greg Renker, Sy Sperling and Sydney Yallen.
